Tip or Tech Tuesday – Favorite LR Shortcuts!

adobe-lightroom-logo

Here are a few keystroke shortcuts that I use all the time.

Using the F key toggles through full screen modes.  I love to work in full screen mode!

In the develop module the Backslash key toggles between current view and a view of the image before any edits were made.

In the Library module use the N key to compare multiple images.

In the Library or Develop modules (this may work in others but I haven’t tried it) use the Shift+Tab keys to hide all the panels.

In the Library or Develop modules (this may work in others but I haven’t tried it) use the L key to toggle light lights out modes.  I love this to remove the distractions of the interface when I really need to concentrate on the images.

Get move quickly to the Library module use the G key (Grid View).

I typical combine the G, N, Shift+Tab, and L (twice for full lights out mode) to compare multiple images.

Hope that helps to streamline some of your workflow.  I use these shortcuts every time I sit down to edit pictures.
